Kalitec and Cegep of Trois-Rivières participate in the deployment of STTR's new technological tools

The President of the Société de transport de Trois-Rivières, Mr. Luc Tremblay, and the members of the STTR Board of Directors held a press conference on May 24, 2018, during which they announced the deployment of new technological tools for the benefit of public transport users.

Among these tools, the STTR plans to deploy dynamic display panels within a few years, announcing the imminent real-time arrival of public transport services at bus stops. Four of these panels have been installed at bus shelters near Cegep of Trois-Rivières and UQTR and have been successfully tested via a long-range wireless telecommunication network. These panels are the result of technological development involving a collaboration between C2T3, Yabtronix Inc., Signalisation Kalitec Inc., and Groupe Civilia.
