Extruded street name signs
The extruded street name sign is the most popular and affordable model on the market. While it's "nice, good, and cheap," this street name sign unfortunately offers very little customization due to its rectangular shape. Although it is recognized as the basic street name sign model on the market, it is not an option to prioritize if you are looking to give your municipality a unique signature.
Cut-out street name sign on existing pole
The decorative cut-out street name sign on an existing pole can be installed on any type of pole already present in the municipality (U-shaped, square, or round pole) using standard fasteners (SU-30, SU-40, SU-70, etc.). This street name sign model offers customization to the shapes and colors of the municipality while using existing supports, making it a personalized and affordable model. However, the available shapes are limited by the fasteners, which must be installed in the center of the street signs.
Cut-out street name sign on painted pole
The decorative cut-out street name sign installed on a painted pole is the most popular model for ornamental street plate projects. A fully customizable street name sign, cantilevered on a matching pole, offers the best "customization / budget" ratio. Coupled with our Kalifix pole, the only MTQ-certified painted pole offered, cut-out street name signs are a guaranteed success. Bonus: you can also add a decorative support to customize them even further!
Heritage street name signs
The Heritage box street name sign is sure to turn heads. This model is inspired by the street names manufactured in the 1950s by Rosco Metal & Roofing Products Ltd and installed across the country. Today, designed entirely from durable materials, the Héritage street name sign offers a unique option for municipalities that wish to have a street name sign with unmatched aesthetics and that is an integral part of Canadian history.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every street has its own story, and the design of street signs can help tell it. Whether through enameled house numbers or traditional plaques, it is possible to reflect the unique character of each street.
Municipalities can choose between classic or contemporary styles, tailoring street signage to the city’s overall aesthetic.
The choice of colors and typographies plays a crucial role in the creation of street signs. The plate color, text color, and even the original color are selectable, with a sign fixing kit ensuring a flawless installation.
Typographic options must ensure excellent readability while adding a distinctive aesthetic touch.
Yes, absolutely, personalizing signs with logos or symbols can strengthen a municipality's visual identity.
These visual elements are not only attractive, but they also help residents and visitors find their way, by integrating an additional dimension that goes beyond simple street signage.
Digital printing or silk-screen printing directly onto the reflective film is the most economical way to proceed. Ink is applied to a white film that completely covers the street name sign.
Since the ink is not entirely opaque, the film continues to reflect light beneath it. The contrast between the text and the background of the street name sign is therefore not optimal at night.
Furthermore, the ink will fade over the years due to UV rays, which will affect the legibility of the signs. Therefore, a useful life of street names of approximately 7 to 10 years can be expected.
The cream of the crop! Here, we use white reflective film letters applied to a painted plate of your chosen color. The concept here is to superimpose the vinyl onto a non-reflective painted plate to optimize contrast at night.
Up close, the polyester powder coat paint covers the entire panel, including the edges, providing an optimal finish. This process offers the best useful life: 10 to 15 years!
